Julia is starting to really get a nice shape and colour, after years of being a yellowy-caramel colour. The jaw itself, even with the extensive repairs has a beautiful shape, smooth lines and great symmetry. It looks a bit like an awkward teenager, with some of its funny looking teeth, however rest assured this shark had massive power and would have caused a lot of damage to its intended prey.
Today I smoothed out the top part of the jaw and sanded other areas of the jaw I had applied putty to. I also filled in the bottom jaw, behind the multiple rows of teeth.
